Jared André is a Law Clerk with SECIL. He assists our attorneys with conducting internal investigations, preparing for trial, drafting and proofreading memoranda, as well as assisting with client matters as they arise. Jared assists with counseling our clients to develop, implement, and administer compliance programs to avoid potential violations.
A recent graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Jared was a managing editor of the Ohio State Criminal Law Journal, an executive board member of the Black Law Student Association, and a member of the American Constitution Society. Prior to graduating, he interned for Senior Judge Reggie B. Walton of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia; and interned for the Homicide division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. During his law school criminal defense clinic, Jared represented two clients and successfully engaged in plea negotiations on their behalf, securing plea agreements consisting of significantly reduced charges.
Since graduating, Jared has worked at the unclaimed property firm Tre Towers Advisory Group, LLC, and has experience researching applicable case law and assisting with counseling clients on compliance with the escheatment laws of various states.
