Washington, D.C. — SECIL Law PLLC is pleased to announce that John Irving and Patrick B. Murray have joined the firm as Partners. Their extensive government and private-sector backgrounds significantly strengthen SECIL Law’s nationally recognized white collar, investigations, and complex litigation practice.
John Irving brings nearly three decades of experience in high-profile investigations, including senior roles at the U.S. Department of Justice and the Environmental Protection Agency. He is widely recognized for representing clients in politically sensitive and complex criminal matters, including classified cases, congressional investigations, and regulatory inquiries involving multiple enforcement authorities.
Patrick B. Murray adds a rare combination of national security, litigation, and corporate risk experience to the firm. He has served in senior positions at the DOJ, CIA, and U.S. House of Representatives and was most recently Associate General Counsel for Litigation at Verizon. Pat has advised on national security, enforcement, and legal strategy at the highest levels of government and industry.
